📅 Date: 26–28 February 2025 | Sitges, Spain

The NexaSphere project proudly participated in the 12th Advanced Satellite Multimedia Systems Conference (ASMS) and the 18th Signal Processing for Space Communications Workshop (SPSC), held in Sitges, near Barcelona, Spain.

This joint event, co-organized by NexaSphere partners, DLR Institute for Communications and Navigation and the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) brought together leading experts and researchers to discuss cutting-edge developments in satellite communications and the integration of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) within future 6G ecosystems. The event was also supported by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the University of Bologna, adding strong scientific credibility and international engagement.

On 28 February, during a session chaired by Bernard Barani, 6G-IA, NexaSphere Project Coordinator, Babak Mafakheri, delivered a presentation outlining the project’s ambitions, technological approach, and expected contributions to the 6G landscape through TN/NTN integration.
