The German SatCom Days will take place for the ninth time from the 10th till the 11th of March 2026. Leading representatives from industry, research and governmental users will discuss satellite communication as an incubator for the information society of tomorrow. There will also be an opportunity to explore the topics through an exhibition, as well as take advantage of networking opportunities.
IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM) is one of the most prestigious conferences in the networking research community. It serves as a leading forum for researchers to present and exchange significant and innovative contributions in networking and closely related fields, covering both theoretical and systems-oriented research. INFOCOM 2026 features a main technical program, workshops, keynote speeches, panels, a student poster session, and demo/poster sessions. As part of this edition, Stefano Taborelli, our partner from CNAM, will present the paper “O-RAN Integrated Space-Terrestrial Networks: A Multi-Connectivity Strategy Analysis” at the IEEE INFOCOM RI-NTNs Workshop, taking place 18–21 May 2026 in Tokyo, Japan. The paper is co-authored also by Farzad Veisi Goshtasb, Pedro Braconnot Velloso, Stefano Taborelli, and Stefano Secci from the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (CNAM).
The IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC) is one of the two flagship conferences of the IEEE Communications Society, alongside IEEE GLOBECOM. Each year, IEEE ICC brings together nearly 2,000 participants from more than 70 countries, offering a comprehensive program that includes keynote sessions, technical paper presentations, tutorials, workshops, and industry-focused sessions. This five-day event serves as a key platform for both academia and industry to present cutting-edge research, exchange insights, and foster collaboration in communications and networking technologies. At this year’s conference, Farzad Veisi Goshtasb, our partner from CNAM, will present the paper “Energy-Efficient Uplink–Downlink Decoupling for 6G TN–NTN Multi-Connectivity” taking place 24–28 May 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. The work is co-authored by Pedro Braconnot Velloso, Stefano Secci (Conservatoire national des arts et métiers), and Babak Mafakheri (RAVE Aerospace).
The 2026 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC, in its 35th edition of a series, supported by the European Commission, and the 6G Summit, in its 8th edition, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland, one of the very first in its area. The conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP) and supported by the European Commission.
